NATE WEBBER | COACH & ATHLETIC DIRECTOR | INDUCTED: SEPTEMBER 30, 2011 A graduate of Elizabethtown College where he was a 1,000 point scorer and was named to the Elizabethtown Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006, Nate Webber is well-known for holding the Guiness Book of World Records for the most three point baskets in 24 hours. Nate served as Nottingham's boys' basketball coach from 1998 to 2004. During this time, the Northstar Basketball team of 2000-01 set a school record of 21 wins and reached the NJ State Tournament semi-finals. The Times and Trentonian selected Nate Coach of the Year. "I enjoyed the challenge of motivating athletes to reach their highest potential. That team matured into an outstanding group of men who never accepted defeat and earned NHS a top-twenty state ranking." His teams qualified for the State Tournament three years in a row (1999-02). During that same time, Nate served as Head Cross Country Coach and Assistant Track Coach. Named as Nottingham's Athletic Director in 2004, he initiated his first project which was to start the athletic hall of fame in an effort to honor the many athletes, coaches, and contributors who have made Nottingham history. Nate has spoken at many camps and participated in fundraisers to benefit various charities and has established a charitable organization called Hoops for Charity. In 2007, Nate was named vice principal at Nottingham. In 2012, Nate was named principal of McGalliard Elementary School, and in 2015, he was named principal at Steinert High School.
