ERICA VENSLAVSKY-RAUCH | CLASS OF '98 | INDUCTED: SEPTEMBER 30, 2011

Erica Venslavsky began making an impact at Nottingham High School during her freshman year when she was named the girls' swim team's Most Outstanding Swimmer (1995). That same year she placed in the top 4 in all her events at the Mercer County Championship Meet and was recognized on the All-CVC 2nd team in the 500 freestyle event.

As a sophomore, she began her dominance by being the team MVP. At the MC Championship Meet, she placed first in the 500 freestyle. On the way, she set school records in the 500 free and the 100 fly. In her junior year, Erica was again named team MVP and placed 2nd in the 500 free and 3rd in the 200 individual medley at the MC meet. The Northstars achieved their best record yet at 10-2.

As one of three senior captains, Erica was once again named Most Outstanding Swimmer, as she continued to break and set school records. She was recognized as an All-State Swimmer (500 fly and freestyle), and was the first girl in Nottingham swim team history to qualify for individual State championships. The Nottingham Booster Club selected her as their scholarship winner, and The Trenton Times named her its "Athlete of the Year". She was a four-time member of the 100 point club and a three-time CVC selection. From sophomore to senior year, she broke eight school records, including two relay records. Six of those records still stand today.
