JOSEPH POLLARD | CLASS OF '97 | INDUCTED: NOVEMBER 3, 2006


A 1997 graduate, Joe earned 5 varsity letters in soccer and wrestling. He was selected for his achievements in Wrestling.

Joe was instrumental in the wrestling team, winning division championships in 1996 and 1997. He established records for wins in a season in both his junior and senior years. Joe was Mercer County Tournament Champion twice. He was District 25 Champion in 1997 and placed third at the Region 7 Tournament to advance to the State Tournament.

After a brief stop at Peddie, Joe continued his wrestling at Rider University, one of the top Division I programs in the U.S. His efforts at Rider earned him the selection as recipient of the Fred Hanson Award in 2002 and 2003. This award is given for leadership, work ethic, and hard work in wrestling and academics.
