ELAINE PITTARO | COACH | INDUCTED: NOVEMBER 3, 2006


A graduate of Glassboro State College [now Rowan University], Elaine began her coaching career at the then-Nottingham Junior High School as the Girls Basketball coach. She then moved on to Hamilton High West where she coached both JV Basketball and Varsity Softball for three seasons.

In 1982, Elaine returned to her Nottingham roots when the school opened as a high school. She was named the Varsity Softball coach, and over a seven-year span lead her teams to two Colonial Valley Conference Division Championships, three Mercer County Tournament Championships, and the 1987 NJ State Championship.

Her career record stands at 126-46, and her success resulted in her selection as Coach of the Year.
