BRIANNA LUCAS | CLASS OF '08 | INDUCTED: SEPTEMBER 12, 2014


Recognized as one of the most gifted female athletes at Nottingham, BriAnna Lucas earned ten Varsity letters in three sports and established and broke records in basketball, track and field, and field hockey.

As a team MVP for four years, BriAnna made four post-season ALL-CVC teams. In her senior year, she was selected to the All-Area second team and was invited to play in the North-South Coaches Association game at Toms River. Additional records set during her career were 140 steals and 491 points in a single season ('06-'07) She is the Northstars' All-Time leading scorer with 1,450 career points.

As a member of the Northstars' Track and Field team, BriAnna set three school records including along jump of 32' 5".In 2007-08 she led the team by accumulating 132 points. The 4x400 relay team broke the school record that same year.

In her junior year, she decided to play field hockey and proceeded to tie the school record with 11 tallies. By the end of her senior season, she had become the All-Time leading scorer for the Northstars and received First Team All-CVC honors and named to the First-Team by the Central Jersey Field Hockey Coaches Association.

After graduation, BriAnna went on to William Paterson University, where she earned a BA degree in Art Concentration: Graphic Design in 2013. As a four-time All-Conference player, she became the Pioneers' career leader in steals and second all-time scoring leader with 1,702 career points. BriAnna continues to be involved with basketball as an assistant coach on the women's basketball team at Passaic County Community College in Paterson, and as a player in the Jersey Professional Athletic League in Fairfield.
