JULIE LOPRINZI | CLASS OF '89 | INDUCTED: OCTOBER 12, 2007


A 1989 graduate, Julie was a four-year letter winner in tennis, finishing as the best tennis player in Nottingham history.

Julie's records in tennis are numerous and still stand today. She holds the season and careeer records for wins with 24 and 82, respectively. She qualified for the NJ State Singles Tournament in each of her four seasons. In her senior season, Julie went undefeated in the regular season. In that same year, she advanced to the Round of 16, the furthest advancement for any NHS tennis player. Julie was a First Team All-County and Third Team All-State honoree. In addition, she was named 'Mercer County Tennis Player of the Year' in 1988.

Julie was awarded a tennis scholarship from the University of Pittsburgh where she played four seasons before graduating in 1993. Her career total of 116 wins placed her in Pittsburgh's 100-Victory Club and earned her a selection to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
