PEG HOWELL | COACH | INDUCTED: SEPTEMBER 12, 2009


In 15 seasons at the helm of the Northstars' Softball team, Peg's teams compiled a record of 218 wins that included four Colonial Valley Conference titles, three Mercer County titles, and a Group III State title.

Peg is a graduate of Hillsborough High School where she excelled in field hockey, softball, and cheerleading and earned 10 Varsity letters. She was named to the Mountain Valley Conference First Team in both her junior and senior seasons. In 2007, Peg was inducted into the Hillsborough High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

Peg graduated from Trenton State College in 1981 and began her teaching career at Nottingham Junior High. When Nottingham became a high school, Peg coached for the next 21 years which included field hockey, winter track, softball, and drill team.
