ROGER HENDLER | SPECIAL CONTRIBUTOR | INDUCTED: OCTOBER 12, 2007


Roger Hendler has been an active part of the Nottingham Athletic community for over 20 years. In addition to his service in the Nottingham Athletic Booster club, he was the "Voice of the Northstars" as announcer for both football and basketball.

Roger graduated from Haverford High School where he played football and basketball. He graduated from Mercer County College and attended Temple University. He has served as Athletic Booster Club president and treasurer.

Hendler also has a secondary career in radio. He was the morning sports anchor for WBUD and WKXW from 1981-1983 and hosted the 'Coaches Corner' on Princeton's WHWH from 1985 to 1993. In addition, Roger co-hosted the 'Troy Vincent Show' on ESPN Radio for two seasons, was one of the radio voices of Drexel University Women's Basketball for eight years, and was color commentator for Rider University Men's Basketball TV. He has also been high school football, basketball and baseball play-by-play and color commentator for WBCB Radio.

Roger Hendler believes, "Once a Northstar, always a Northstar."
