1987 NJ STATE CHAMPIONS | SOFTBALL TEAM | INDUCTED: NOVEMBER 3, 2006 Under the direction of head coach Elaine Pittaro and assistant coaches Mae Hart, Peg Howell, and Glenn Sliker, the 1987 Varsity Softball team rolled to a final record of 23-4. The team captured the Valley Divison championship and was the Mercer County Tournament Champions. In the State Tournament, the team won the Central Jersey Group III title with a 1-0 victory over cross-town rival Steinert High School.
